The Atherstone halter was designed with Olivier Lepage, a former vet for the French equestrian team, to improve the comfort of the horse. The large, rounded form of the headpiece and noseband spreads the weight over a larger area thus avoiding any unnecessary stress.

It is manufactured by craftsmen using extra-slow vegetable leather lined with natural calf leather. The natural lined leather has been chosen for the softness and comfort it brings to the horse. These two leathers achieve a patina with time.
